2017 documentary on Chronic Fatigue (ME/CFS)

Chronic fatigue Syndrome, also known as Myalgic Encephalomyelitis, or ME/CFS, is a common comorbidity associated with hypermobility and EDS. As an invisible condition, people with ME/CFS can appear healthy on the outside, so it is sometimes hard for others to fully grasp the challenges of managing it every day.

This documentary is created by Jennifer Brea who was working on her PhD at Harvard and about to marry the love of her life when she’s struck down by ME/CFS. She grapples with familiar situations of many patients with ME/CFS where doctors tell her “it’s all in her head”. Searching for answers, Jennifer discovers a hidden world of millions confined to their homes and bedrooms by ME/CFS.

This is a documentary that can be enlightening for those who do not understand the significantly disabling issues people with ME/CFS continue fight against.
